Best Web Hosting Affiliate Programs
Updated on 5/1/2016
Affiliate programs are a great way to make money with your blog. Basically, it works like this: Someone visits your website, you recommend a product, they buy it, you get a share of the sale. Web hosting is a huge and competitive industry, and many companies are willing to pay lots of money, some more than $100 per sale!
There are several factors when it comes to choosing the best web hosting affiliate program – pricing, reliability, and the quality of the host. Here are the 10 best web hosting affiliate programs (in no specific order):
Best Web Hosting Affiliate Programs 1. Crucial Hosting ($10 – $3,000)
CrucialHosting.com tops the list with the best payouts, commission options & hosting service out there. Commissions start at $10 and go up to an industry leading $3,000 for a single sale. You can select 100% of the first month’s payment or 10% monthly commission for the life of the account. The “Crucial Cash” custom control panel allows you to create discount coupon codes, custom URL’s, graphics and even the ability to create ad campaigns for tracking your affiliate marketing.
Not your typical “cookie cutter” host, Crucial Hosting has been creating performance hosting solutions since 2006 and provides these services for a wide range of products priced from $10 a month for shared hosting to a maximum of $3,000 for high end dedicated hosting environments, making for easy conversions. Crucial Hosting’s affiliate program offers a very high income potential, and if you refer a customer who buys a dedicated server you could earn thousands of dollars for a sale. They are also a very professional hosting company, with a great reputation on the web. Sign up for an affiliate account at Crucial Hosting!
Best Web Hosting Affiliate Programs 2. Siteground ($50-125)
As one of the highest quality web hosting companies out there, Siteground deserves a place in the best web hosting affiliate programs list. It’s payout structure is same as that of Hostgator. Previously, SiteHround was ranked #8, but after personally testing the program, SiteGround is now one of my most recommended web hosts. SiteGround has extremely friendly support – go on chat to ask. Their affiliate program is more competitive – you need an application and (in my case) the affiliate manager even asked me questions by email before I was approved. The conversion rates are very high (good income potential).
Best Web Hosting Affiliate Programs 3. iPage ($105)
Best Web Hosting Affiliate Programs 4. Bluehost ($65)
Best Web Hosting Affiliate Programs 5. Hostgator ($50-125)
Wow – why $50-125? Because the more sales you make, the more money you get paid per sale. At $125, that’s more than all the other affiliate programs, and if you have many sites or great methods to achieve 21 sales per month, you could $2625 that month!
We love all things about affiliate programs. I have found that joining a bunch of quality affiliate selling platforms earns fantastic amounts of money than only marketing on just 1 affiliate program. What works best for you, a little or a lot? I
Hi Connie,
Really, it depends on the website and blog. But I’d recommend promoting only 1 product in each niche.
Ryan
Thanks for this list of Affliate Program. im going to use hostgator on my website.
Dont Use hostgator they didn’t give commision
Hostrica.com offers Instant Commission for web hosting affiliate.
Thanks for information. I add hostrica on my blog.
Thank you admin sharing this for this list of Affiliate Program.
No Problem. Glad you enjoyed the post!
Hi Ryan,
You forgot to mention the best hosting affiliate ever ” A Small Orange. Even your referrals will be pleased by their amazing customer service and tech support . They are the best in business.
Hey Anish,
I’ve looked into ASO and they do seem to be quite good! (Especially with their support).
Looks like they’ve increased their affiliate payings as well.
Hey Ryan,
I recently joined iPage affiliate program. But I got lot of negative reviews of their affiliate program, such as they don’t pay sometimes or don’t count valid sign ups. Can you please help me with that?
Hey Raakib,
The EIG hosts (I listed them in the article) sometimes miscount signups – I’ve heard that they could not count half of your signups. In this case, I’d say that promoting Siteground may be a better choice – they’ve got great support and I’ve been paid successfully by them.
Ryan
Hello, what are the criteria of categorising the Siteground 9th? The are better than others that are before them on your list.
Hey John,
I recently tried out the Siteground affiliate program and was very happy with it – I’ve categorised it as 1st now.
We’ve had some problems with Inmotion regarding our affiliate commission. Our experience is that they do track and show you clicks in your dashboard but conveniently forget to credit your sales.
I know for a fact that the sale came through because we have been setting up the bloggers wordpress themes and plugins and had suggested the move.
I wonder how many such sales that should have been credited were not due to their tracking mechanism failure.
I have emailed them. Let’s see how they resolve it.
Hm, that’s concerning. I’ve heard that some hosts deliberately miscount referrals to decrease how much they have to pay. I hope they pay you in the end – they should do so if you show them some proof.
So they came back with this reply
” Our system shows that another affiliate received credit for this sale. Your referral must have went to another affiliate website after clicking on your affiliate link, causing your affiliate cookie to be overwritten. ”
We train bloggers and know for a fact that the sale came through our affiliate link. I have emailed them back. This feels just terrifying.
That’s terrible! Could the affiliate have accidentally clicked on another affiliate link before signing up?
Anyways, I’d recommend you try the SiteGround affiliate program instead. I know that they always count signups honestly and I got paid successfully too.
This is a somewhat scary trap. Even if you know that their explanation is not acceptable or a plain lie, it is almost impossible for you to prove that and you easily lose a commission! Totally horrifying!
So far SiteGround seems very positive to their affiliates and their site’s affiliate section is very helpful and welcoming. However, before choosing them I would like to know more about Arvixe hosting as their payout is higher and I’ve read good reviews about them on another blog.
I’ve been suspecting InMotion of cheating me on affiliates sales for some time. I have sent more traffic to InMotion than any other host and I’ve still yet to see one sale while I’ve converted others without a problem. I emailed them 3 times over the course of a month and recieved no responses. When at first their affiliate Manager Sevag was very responsive.
I have also noticed that InMotion tracking doesnt last very long it’s definitely not cookied like the other web hosts.
The unresponsiveness paired with that makes me think their affiliate program is designed to just make them money and not affiliates.
Nice list ..
Sure I will promote few of them on my blog.
great list i will tryout one of them. thanks for the list and nice blog
I have am using dreamhost affiliate program. Want to try bluehost and siteground. Siteground is first on my try list.

Hey Bari,
I have not. Look around the web, and you’ll see many people’s payment proofs along with those saying that iPage scammed them.

1 red card to hostgator and 2 to ipage. Never waste your time with these two morongos.
I use bluehost.in hosting affiliate it give 4000 INR and host1plus hosting it give upto 150$
Hostgator is scaming affiliates.Month ago they stole from me 3 month payment and just kick me out of the program because i started to make good money there.Sad to say that but hostgator is scam for affiliates because in the payment section they stole money from affiliates every month and you just wonder how it is possible that somone buys hosting for 198$ and the payment for affiluate is overdue or inactive. If the Hostgator will do this for the long term they will go down 100%.Also service from them also not so good anymore because the speed of the website while hosting website on hostgator is down so you will not be in good standing in search engine.Sadly!
yeah do not promote host gator. You will be lucky to see any money from them
