You’ll also find data on the most in demand jobs right now. They may not be the jobs that you said you wanted to do when you were a kid, but they’re the jobs companies are trying hardest to fill right now, by volume. You can find more jobs, with descriptions, salaries and demand here.
Finally, you’ll see the cities with the highest job growth. It’s a pretty interesting distribution, with most of the high growth cities clustered in and around a single state. Can you guess which one? Hint: it’s known for being sunny.
As you can see Florida is the runaway best state for the most high growth cities. Apparently the combination of tourism and retiring baby boomers have provided a boost to their local economy, and created a lot of demand for services, especially in health care.
So, it’s not too surprising that the healthcare industry does so well, and that there’s so much demand for jobs connected to that industry.
All in all, if these trends hold job seekers will be delighted to see that the market is on their side this year.
2017 is sure to be an interesting year, especially for them.
