Top 10 Google Adsense Alternatives
When you hit a certain point in the growth of your site, it makes sense to start looking for ways to monetize. You’re writing the content, putting in the time, you should get paid for it, right? Now, everyone’s heard of Google’s Adsense but they’re not for everybody. And there are plenty of alternatives. This article will present top 10 google adsense alternatives! Let’s get started.
1. Qadabra
Simplicity is the name of the game when working with Qadabra: registration is easy, the payout threshold is just $1, and their support team is responsive. Definitely look at Qadabra as an Adsense alternative. The only drawback is that pay per click is extremely low. In one month, one of my sites received 25 clicks, and I earned 0.08. The algorithm does seem to be strange.
Score: 7/10 Great for new bloggers, but the earnings are bad.
2. BidVertiser
BidVertiser’s another advertising network that is very easy to sign up for – you can be earning within minutes. They are a PPC network that also offers potential affiliate earnings off the clicks you generate. The minimum payout is $50 with paypal.
Score: 6/10 Bidvertiser is quite similar to Qadabra, but the minimum payout is much higher.
3. Yahoo/Bing Ad Network
Yahoo/Bing’s answer to Adsense, the Yahoo/Bing network operates on a very similar principle. They still commands a decent share of search traffic, and you have the potential to make some good income.
Score: 8/10 A viable alternative. As you can see, Google Adsense is so big that yahoo and microsoft are teaming up to provide an alternative!
4. Infolinks
Infolinks is a PPC network that will allow you to monetize your site based on certain keywords. They’ll scan your site, convert those keywords to links, which will then display the ads when the user puts the mouse over them.
Score: 8/10 Infolinks can make you some money if used correctly, and it’s not as intrusive as pop-ups.
5. Chitika
Chitika provides search-focused advertisements for your site. Meaning, if someone visits your site using a search engine, Chitika would show ads based on their search terms. If they didn’t come through search, they wouldn’t see any ads. This provides a way to monetize your casual visitors, while not isolating your loyal readers with advertisements. It also pays great – once I received $0.46, just for a single click!
Score: 9/10 Chitika is one of the best ad networks. In fact, the ads you see on the top and bottom of each post in Nukeblogger are Chitika ads! They certainly deserve a place in Nukeblogger’s Top 10 Google Adsense alternatives.
6. BuySellAds
BuySellAds is a bit different. They allow you to sell your ad space directly to advertisers. Just sign up, add your site to their marketplace, paste the code to your site, and advertisers will bid for your space.
Score: 8/10 If you have a popular blog, BuySellAds works like a charm and can make you more money than adsense.
7. Tribal Fusion
IF you meet their traffic and site requirements, Tribal Fusion offers you some of the highest CPM rates out there. They’re definitely worth a look for established sites.
Score: 7.5/10 This is a tricky one…. If most of your traffic comes from search engines, go for a PPC network. But if you have lots of social media/recurring visitors (mailing list subscribers, rss feeds, etc.) this just might work well.
8. Casale Media
Casale Media is a CPM network and a solid adsense alternative. They’re known for providing good payouts.
Score: 7/10 Similar to Tribal Fusion.
9. Clicksor
Clicksor is an ad network that is very easy to get set up on, and offers all manner of ads for its clients: banner ads, popus, and text ads. However, I’ve had some bad experience with Clicksor. Their ads don’t look as well as Chitika or Adsense, and one of their ads simply redirected the readers away from my site!
Score: 6/10 Not the best option.
10. Kontera
Kontera is a good network to explore if your traffic is high and comes from higher-spending areas like the US or Europe. They’re an in-text advertising network, and will add links to your content.
Score: 7/10 Similar to Infolinks.
11. Direct Advertisements
This is the biggest earner if you have a popular site. Advertisers contact you directly to buy advertising space, usually with a monthly fee or other benefits (free products, etc.)
Score: 9/10 Great earnings, but you’re lucky if you find one!
So here they are, the top 10 google AdSense alternatives. Ok – I know I added one more extra, but hey, it’s a good surprise, isn’t it?
Hope you enjoyed this post, and have a nice day.
Hi, this is Itai from Infolinks. We’re a fantastic alternative to AdSense as we offer several advertising products, including In-Text. Generated in real-time, our ads are high quality and relevant. For more information about our easily customized products and high payouts, feel free to check out our site at http://www.infolinks.com, or shoot us an email at support@infolinks.com. For those who are still using AdSense, we’re a great compliment to boost your earnings even higher.
Hi Itai,
Great to see you coming to Nukeblogger! Infolinks seems cool, but I’m not sure if it’s right for everyone. Still, I’ve seen some sites that use infolinks quite well, though it might be confusing for readers.
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
Happy to join the conversation! Infolinks is actually the second largest ad marketplace in the world with more than 120K websites.
We offer several different ad products, giving each publisher a wide range of options to choose depending on the nature of his site (more text based or visual based content)as well as sources of traffic.
Most people know us for our InText ads, but we offer several very unique and innovative solutions.
Seems cool! Maybe I’ll consider implementing it on Nukeblogger sometime! 😀 Also stay tuned for a review on Infolinks. A question for Itai at Infolinks: Do you guys offer image ads, like the one on my header?
Nice Alternatives but do you have the personal experience with those ads because i read article on Best Google Adsense Alternatives with high CPM they reviewed the ad network and provided the report that’s really good CPM compare with the above networks. Hope You can add EPOM.COM also in your list that also a Good alternative.
Hi Kasi,
I do have some personal experience with several of these networks. Epom has a high minimum payout and it a smaller company when compared to some of these other sites, so I didn’t include it in the initial list. I’ve added it to the list anyway.
Ryan
Top post. I look forward to reading more. Cheers
I also have heard about EPOM Market as adsense alternative, have you any information on that
best article to read this article thanx.
I must say, Media.net is the best Adsense Alternatives in terms of cpc. However it is depends on source country and based on it, Alternative will varries. For asian countries, Media.net is good but for Westurn other will good.
I was not able to get approved by the adsense due to some reasons and was disappointed but after reading this article about alternatives to Google Adsense gave me hope to earn from other network. Thank You admin, I appreciate your efforts.
Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed my article.
i think BuySellAds is the best than all of the above if you are getting high traffic from search engines.
but you can also use any other’s adsence account on your blog i am also using my brother’s account on my blog http://dailytopup.com and there is no issue with that.
Hm, I don’t think that’s good, Google might frown upon that.
I’d recommend you to try applying for your own account.
I think that Qadabra is the best alternative nowadays because they are providing really good rates members my Qadabra Account was approved in 5 minutes only 🙂
Best Adsense alternative thanc For Great Artcile .!
well.. I just hope that these ad network are not scam. Yes, Google Adsense is the best for advertising our website but the problem is in “approval”. I’m glad that i am approved 🙂
Yeah, I’m pretty sure they aren’t scams, though with direct advertising you might get scammed (no middleman).
I prefer 7. Tribal Fusion but they are for bigger sites
Yeah, you need a large number of visitors.
Really appreciate for the above top programs………
Do you know adtomatik.com? I’ve using it for the last two months and I´m very satisfied! I got the highest fill rates and the bests results on eCPM campaigns. Recommended!
Looks good! I’ll check it out ASAP ;).
Apple also has an Affiliate program. A great way for bloggers and publishers to sell
Apple apps and earn revenue is by displaying apps that are relevant to their content. AppWi.se is the only service that I have seen that does this sort of thing. (http://www.appwi.se)
Thanks! Nice recommendation.
This is a great post. Can we also successfully use a couple these with adsense or does adsense ban you for doing so ?
Each of them have different policies, might have to ask their support staff/Adsense support about that.
Try cpmhigh.com daily payment by paypal min. 10$
Hm…the website seems to be down.
Adtomatik is the best,if you want higher fill rates and best ecpm than others ad networks, then what are you waiting for? Use adtomatik.
Concern to Google Adsense Alternatives, I’d highly recommend Infolinks, or Media.net else Chitika. They converts really well as because now-a-days I’m thinking of monetizing my blog too and was in search for some good networks other than Google Adsense. Aww, it sucks something, and so I’ve found the right article.
Perhaps, thanks for the awesome and comprehensive article, Ryan Chang.

Thanks Bishal!
I have had a very good read through here and there is some fantastic information.
I personally use Infolinks and Qadabra them seem to be doing a pretty good job although i have found sometimes Qadabra sometimes an annoying popup comes up on your screen about flash player has stopped working and your screen freezes for at least 15 seconds maybe just me i don’t know but all the same they seem pretty good so far.
Yeah, the problem with Qadabra is not with Qadabra itself but low quality advertiser :(.
I have tried yahoo(media.net) , chitika and infolinks but adsense is best. They didn’t pay as much as Adsense does. I think adsense is the father of all publisher network.
This Is The Really A Great List, But I Would Suggest That Chitika, Infolinks And Yahoo Contextual Ad Networks Are The Best Alternatives To The AdSence, Thank For The List And Information.
Regards,
Raja.
Yes, and BuySellAds is good if you can find advertisers.
Great article. i was was searching for this article Thanku.
Hey Ryan! This is Yana from Qadabra. Great to see Qadabra on the list. You are very right in that we are all about making it easy to start earning more from your site. Qadabra has one of the lowest payout thresholds in the market which means there really is no risk involved in giving us a try. We just recently added new features including the option to add rich media directly from users dashboards so make sure to check it out! We are always available to offer tips relating to our banner ads and on how to maximize your revenue and eCPM. Feel free to reach out to us at support@qadabra.com or check out some of our own blogs at http://www.qadabra.com/blog/ where we cover tips on how to increase your traffic and other relevant topics for bloggers.
Hi there, Yana! Good to see someone from Qadabra come over. Qadabra has relatively low payouts, though another user below commented on how “an annoying popup comes up on your screen about flash player has stopped working and your screen freezes for at least 15 seconds”, maybe a low quality advertiser?
Hey Ryan, this unfortunately, was a case of a spammer advertiser. He has already been detected in our system and has since been removed. We are constantly working to ensure that our publishers only receive high quality advertisers. Let me know if you have any other questions and feel free to drop us an email at : support@qadabra.com or even me personally at : yana.h@qadabra.com .
Thanks Yana for the response! I’ve sent you a message myself, please check it out! 🙂
I had tried using media.net , but their RPM is low but good customer support. Adsense is the best one . Media.net and
Chitika also good , I had received payments from them.I had placed media.net ads for few days on one my sites.
I think media.net is best alternative of google adsense, if u have range of users from US then media.net is best in all good rates. im using on my site http://www.brightverge.com just apply and get quick approval i hope you can earn more money instead of google adsense.
That’s really an excellent list of Adsense alternatives. I do know some of them, but it’s good to know more alternatives.
We still remember the adbrite network Publisher as same like ad-sense.
In some cases, many bloggers and marketers want to know some top paying or high-paying adsense alternatives.
It’s easier said than done to pass over Google Adsense’s qualifications, some were banned and it’s like a horror story for them. Since there are alternatives and we know not all knows that there are other ways to make money even without Google Adsense, this article will open their mind and give them hope.
Affiliate marketing is one of the best and I want it to put forward. I also like Chitika, it is painless to use and applying is uncomplicated.
Hi Karolina, yeah, affiliate marketing IS a great way to earn revenue! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Chitika work great for me…
Yeah, Chitika is a nice alternative.
thanks a lot. coz i never try
they banned me from adsense and I signed up goomito marketing now they pay me 800 per month I’m happy
thanks for the information. very useful in my case since my account got suspended for unknown reasons. Adsense simply sent me a generic email informing me that my account got suspended because i violated a policy that they cannot specify.
I have tried Chitika ads it pays but income is low. Bidvertise the worst, it pays penny. The best is Adsense and if your adsense is blocked then go for affiliate marketing as it will pay more than these ads companies will ever pay
I think that you have mentioned really some good and trusted Google adsense alternatives. But i think Infolinks should have taken the first place. But i understand that opinions may differ from person to person. According to me, Infolinks is probably the best adsense alternatives i have ever experienced. It’s true that your experience may differ. But as long as you use Infolinks on your site and you use some good keywords, it is really not hard to earn good income. Infolinks is a highly trusted in-text advertising networks running its business for a long time. There are people who earn thousands of dollars from Infolinks only. You just need a good site with high number of pageviews with good earning keywords. That’s it. The best part is that anyone can join Infolinks with even a small site. They don’t have difficult criteria to approve your sites and it is basically good for beginners. If you run a small site and want to monetize, Infolinks should take the first place of your consideration. Infolinks is truly great at helping even small publishers make money on the internet.
Indeed a Great post.
But according to me, none of the adsense alternative can give the revenue as much as Adsense can give. I haven’t tried all the above alternatives but I tried infolinks and I had worst experience with it. After having huge amount of traffic, I was able to make only 100-200$.
Because my blog was banned by Adsense. If this wasn’t happened then that traffic can surely make around $2k+.
That’s why infolinks is far away from Adsense in terms of generating revenue.
BTW Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hey Brenda,
Yeah, Adsense is definitely still the best when it comes to revenue – nothing comes close (other than intrusive popups). For bloggers who don’t have Adsense though, I’d recommend to give any of the options in this list a try.
This post don’t only read the mind of the upcoming bloggers and probably the yet becoming pro blogger on how top bloggers keep the top notch of blogging secret to themselves but hit the nail on top on what to know about monetizing blog and only give a peanut to their loyal blog readers and followers in the name of teaching them what they ought to know by selling their products. There is no harm in doing that though but they should also consider that who ever start blogging has a motive which one day will be how much have I earn so far from blogging or this month.
Google AdSense is the top priority of most blogger, and it doesn’t depends on your platform or niche because bloggers early mentallity doesn’t goes beyond you can make a big buck from AdSense but often time, reverse is the case. Nonetheless, affiliate is the best when you have a targets audience and the fear of retrenching your account for unknown reasons like invalid click won’t bother you any longer. I love the part that talks about selling personal product but it’s time consuming and it’s must be unique in addition.
Firstly Thanks for sharing your great thoughts and article with us.
This will help me very much. Actually I wanted to start earning with
AdSense, but I’m afraid, if I apply and if they reject me, then what
will happen? I don’t have enough money to buy/create many site. Is
there anyway to be sure that my application will be approved?
